Binding Screw Posts
Binding screw posts are widely used for binding documents. You will find them in scrapbooks, sample books, portfolios, menus, blueprint architectural plans. You can even find them in key chains and other leather products. Their popularity can be attributed to their durability and ease of use. Binding screw posts require no special binding equipment, just a hole punch and a simple flat-head screwdriver.
Basics Configuration
Binding screw posts are comprised of two parts: a bottom portion (post) and the screw top. The screw threads into the post to keep the material bound together. Both the male portion (screw) and the female portion (post) can be slotted or unslotted. Unslotted binding screw posts allow for permanent fastening and do not require threading which saves on assembly times.
